AUDITIONS TAKING PLACE ON 19TH February 2023

WHAT IS IT?

A fully-funded, 8-week, part-time acting course starting 23rd April 2023.

The course is for 16-19 year olds. Priority scholarships will be given to people living in low-income households or with experience of social care. 

WHO CAN APPLY?

If you’re living in the UK and aged 16-19 on the start date of the course (23rd April 2023) you can apply!

Priority scholarships will be given to applicants who also meet the below criteria:

1. Are in care currently, or have been in local authority care previously 

2. Live in a household with a total household income of £20,000 per year or less

3. Live in a household which receives income-assessed benefits

If you don’t meet the priority criteria but are aged 16-19, you can still apply, but please note that priority will be given to applicants who meet the criteria.

HOW DO I APPLY?

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION?

The deadline for applications is 12th February 2023.

WHEN IS THE COURSE?

The course will run from Sunday 23rd April 2023 to Sunday 18th June 2023.

It will take place once a week, for eight weeks, and classes are three hours each (class time to be confirmed).

WHERE IS THE COURSE?

The course will take place at the ArtsEd Centre in Chiswick.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

If your application is accepted, you’ll need to go through the following steps:

1. You will be invited to a FREE audition. Auditions will be on Sunday 19th February 2023 at the ArtsEd Centre. You’ll receive an email with the information you need to attend. You do not need any previous acting experience.

2. After the audition, you will be contacted by Friday 24th February 2023 to inform you of the outcome.

3. If you are successful, you will need to submit some paperwork confirming your eligibility for the course. We will let you know at the time what you need to submit.

4. If the paperwork is satisfactory, you will be invited to register for the course. A representative from the Kingdom admin team will contact you to let you know the process.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

In order to audition, you will need to be available to travel to the school site in Chiswick.

If you are offered a place on the course, you will need access to the internet and a printer to download and print your scripts. You will also need to be available and able to travel to the school site in Chiswick once a week every Sunday for the duration of the course.
