On 24th November 2024, Kingdom School of Arts hosted our highly anticipated Monologue Jam—a night celebrating raw talent, exceptional performances, and the bridge between training and professional opportunities.
Directed by our outstanding tutors, Joe Richardson and Adam Buchanan, the showcase was an unforgettable evening of creativity and artistry. The highlight of the night was Natalie Bailey, who delivered a performance that left the judges in awe. Her talent, dedication, and hard work shone through, earning her the title of Monologue Jam winner. Natalie also received a full scholarship to join our Year Two course, and we’re thrilled to continue supporting her journey as an artist.
The event featured an extraordinary panel of industry judges, giving our students exposure to key figures who shape the industry:
Tosin Cole, lead actor in the Netflix global hit Supercell
Alexandra Imithimo, talent agent at Independent Talent Group, representing some of the UK’s finest talent
Bex Iliff, talent agent at Creative Artist Management, representing BAFTA winner Jasmine Jobson
Heather Basten, casting director behind the BAFTA-winning Dreaming Whilst Black
Lucy Doyle and Michael Wiggs, from Modern Collective, representing legends like Ray Winstone and Martin Freeman
Naomi Jalil, from Shaheen Baig Casting, known for casting acclaimed series like Peaky Blinders
This wasn’t just a showcase—it was an opportunity for our students to perform in front of decision-makers who can open doors to professional opportunities. Events like this are what make Kingdom School of Arts stand out. We pride ourselves on bridging the gap between training and the acting profession, providing our students with unparalleled exposure and the chance to make real industry connections.
