NAGAJAN MODHWADIA

Kingdom School of Arts was founded in 2012 by award-winning producer Nagajan Modhwadia. He is also the school principal and director of the Apex talent agency.

ASHLEY WALTERS

Multi-award-winning actor and director Ashley Walters is co-founder of Kingdom. He brings more than 20 years of acting and industry experience to our students.

 

MEET THE TUTORS

At Kingdom, all our tutors are professional working actors who have graduated from top-tier drama institutions, so our students receive the highest level of professional training, as well as an insight into the current demands of the industry.

ADAM BUCHANAN | Head of Acting

Adam trained at the Guildford School of Acting. In his final year he won the Alan Bates Award.

Film & Television: The Crown (Netflix), Grantchester (ITV), Waking the Dead and Our World War (BBC).

Theatre: The Merchant of Venice 1936 (Manchester HOME/Watford Palace), The Butterfly Lion (Chichester), Pride and Prejudice (Sheffield Crucible), Elephants (Hampstead Theatre), The Mystae (Hampstead Theatre), As You Like It (UK No.1 Tour), After the Dance (Theatre by the Lake), Diana of Dobsons (New Victoria Theatre), First Episode (Jermyn Street Theatre), and The Butterfly Lion (Mercury Theatre and UK No.1 Tour).

In 2016, Adam was nominated for Best Actor in the Off West End Awards for his performance in After October (Finborough Theatre).

ALICE BLUNDELL | Advanced Screen Acting

Alice trained at ALRA and gradated in 2012.

Film & Television: The Winter’s Tale, (BBC), The Sister Boniface Mysteries (BBC/Britbox), The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe (ITV), and a confidential BBC drama project which is still currently being filmed with Steve Coogan.

Other: Alice is the face and voice of the advertising campaign for LNER trains.

PATRICK OSBORNE | Performing Arts Acting

Patrick trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Theatre: Comedy of Errors (RSC), Shakespeare in Love (West End), Peter Pan (Open Air, Regents Park), Noises Off (UK tour), The Cherry Orchard (Nottingham Playhouse), The Cardinal (Southwark Playhouse), and After October (Finborough Theatre).

Film & Television: Their Finest (Number 9 Films) and The Borgias (Showtime).

 

KATE SUMPTER | Performing Arts Acting

Kate acted in theatre in the United States and was a member of ensemble theatre company The Satori Group before moving to the United Kingdom to attend LAMDA.

Theatre: Bringing Down The House (Seattle Shakespeare Company).

Film & Television: The Little Drummer Girl (BBC), Without Remorse (Paramount), and Before Seven (Ray Sisters).

PETER GROOM | Performing Arts Acting

Peter graduated from Guildford School of Acting in 2013 and has worked both in the UK and internationally.

Theatre: MEAT (Schaubuhne, Berlin), Romeo and Juliet and Sherlock Holmes (Aquila Theatre, New York).

Other: Appeared in cabaret show Dietrich: Natural Duty, which toured internationally, playing in London, Amsterdam, New York and Australia.
