At Kingdom School of Arts, we believe that screen acting is only effective when built on a strong foundation of performance and stagecraft. That’s why our Year Two Screen Acting course is exclusively available to students who have successfully completed our one-year Performing Arts Acting course and performed in our live industry showcase.
Our philosophy is simple: there's no point in learning screen acting if you don’t know how to act. Winning auditions and securing roles begins with your ability to move an audience in person. If you can captivate a room of 200 or 300 people in a theatre, you'll have the tools to impress casting directors in an audition. Now that you’ve developed your stagecraft and know how to influence a live audience, it’s time to refine those skills for the screen, ensuring you are truly versatile across both mediums.
Take your acting skills to the next level with our highly focused Year Two Screen Acting course. This year-long programme is designed for those who have successfully completed our flagship Performing Arts Acting course and are ready to deepen their craft with a focus on delivering authentic, high-quality performances for screen.
Our course offers you:
Professional Screen Acting Training: Learn the technical demands of screen acting, from understanding the camera to mastering continuity and delivering truthful, impactful performances.
Industry Mentorship: Receive expert guidance on branding, self-marketing, and building professional relationships with talent agents and casting directors.
Broadcast-Quality Showreel: By the end of the year, you'll have three contrasting scenes, each filmed with a professional crew at broadcast standard, ready to showcase your range. We’ll shoot one light-hearted/comedic scene, one deeply dramatic scene, and... (you can suggest the third scene you want to explore!)
Hands-on Filming Projects: Each term ends with a real-world project, where you’ll work with a professional director of photography, sound crew, lighting team, and more, ensuring you experience the demands of a professional set environment.
